Welcome to DF!! The V-6 is kind of a pig, really. I installed the powerwire, cut the factory air box, and put in a K&N filter. I noticed a little bit of performance gain, not much.
the power wire is actually just a resistor. some guys have had molex connectors made up to match the factory connectors. I just spliced it in the IAT line...
The nice thing about he power wire on a speed density vehicle like our trucks, its that it tricks the computer. its a little different than a mass airflow car like the mustangs.
