This is what Im talking about!
We're on a mission guys...and its gonna take hard work, phone calls, emails and alot of nagging! This should be interesting. Lets get some more emails going. Im probably going to call them tomorrow!
Cams are a big boost and yet still a simple engine mod so lets get Comp to make them for us! We're the consumer, lets show em what we want!!!!!

My suggestion is we do a call saturation. If everyone has a chance around noon time tomorrow or around that time, I say we all call and bombard them with requests for the 4.7L grind, this way it will stick with them.!!

the added benefit is really just a bump in HP and Torque, also they can run for more than 500-800, and you can install them yourself...just taked a couple hours, just open up the valve covers and your ready to get dirty

Cams basically effect how your motor sucks air in, and lets it out... thats the really basic explanation...

Yeah, what Eric said. Our engine is a single over head or SOHC engine. There are two cams, but only one per cylinder head or one per cylinder bank. This allows our 4.7Ls to run at higher RPMS. The cams turn and are attached by a sprocket and a timing chain. The camshaft lobes push against the valves to open them. This brings air into and pushes exhaust out of the engine. If you ever want to see them, just pop off your valve covers and there they are.

Like I have mentioned before, unfortunately we do not currently carry any
camshafts for this particular application, but I want to let you know that
our engineering department is looking into it. We have gotten many emails
about this and I am keeping them in a separate folder. This way I can let
everyone that has contacted me know when I hear something. Thanks.
