What is our rim width? Anyone know?

 

Stock steelies are 16x7 I believe. That's why a 265 series (just over 10") is about as wide as I wanted to go when I replaced my stock tires.

 

Sweet, thanks man. I was looking at the 265/70's and 265/75's...just double checking.

 

I have 265/70's, and there's plenty of room. If I had 3.55's I would go to /75's next time. I noticed a difference in acceleration and highway grade-climbing ability with the bigger size. But 3.21's and the V6 are sensitive to that.

What is the width on the 17" wheel?

 

I am pretty sure that all the aluminum rims are 8" wide. Just like Cramerica said the stock steelies are the only 7" wide ones. The rest are 8" wide.


Mine are 18" x 8"...wooot?!

 

Yeah you will get some rub on an 8" wide with the 265/75s, but if you use the 16x7 wheel, you wont rub at all. I had bfgoodwrench all terrains and chapparal ATs and niether rubbed with no leveling kit.
