Luckily they are easy to change. When mine broke, i rebuilt it, and used it for like 2 months before i ordered mine off rock auto...

It broke off at the head a bit higher then motodeficients did, so I was able to use a lathe to drill a hole dead center, then I tapped it, and threaded a bolt into it...

Here is a pic...

I still have it, saving it as a spare, but i put a new one on.

I ordered two of the front stabilizer links from rock auto for $71 shipped with 2 day shipping. Cheapest price I could find from a dealer around here was $68 plus tax for 1. Hopefully the ones from the 2006 schematic will work on my 2005.

As long as I am not cornering hard it should be ok to drive it without that stabilizer link right? I have been driving it since thursday like this

Yeah it'll just have more body roll than normal, and rougher riding, might be a tad "fun" sometimes, just be careful

OEM links are junk. I've replaced both of mine. Bouncy ride is from bad shocks.....replace your shocks, you won't regret it. Good to know Rockauto has the links now.

Do you think the Rockauto ones will be better than OEM? They look a little beefier in the pics

Seriously, that part looks like it came from the Titanic. Nice metaerials used Dodge.
And to beat it all there is no third party upgrade.

Yeah I do live in a heavily salted state, but I was suprised how rusty a lot of the front end parts are already. I think I might get under the truck with a few cans of rubberized undercoating and start spraying. Anybody think that will help? Or will it just seal the rust in and make it rust more.
