Anybody have Gibson Sweptside or Dual Sport?
I've pretty much narrowed my choice of exhausts down to either of these two Gibson set-ups, but I would like to see pics of them intalled on our trucks, but haven't been able to find any. I'd also like to hear sound clips of either, as the ones on the Gibson site aren't that great of quality, especially for the sweptside. I've had the sweptsides twice in the past on two different 4.0 Rangers and really liked them, as well as the split rear on my last F-150 5.4, and the sound Gibson has is exactly what I like. I'm more interested in the performance gains, while keeping the truck more on a quieter note. After searching around here and reading opinions on the other set-ups, I think I'm best to stick with what I know as opposed to the other set-ups.
So if anybody has any pics, especially of the dual sport, I'd love to see them.

The one I'm looking for has both pipes coming out of the passenger side, not both sides.
Well I ended up ordering the sweptside in stainless steel. I found a really good deal on it and ended up getting it for almost the same price as the aluminized system. It came in yesterday and I installed it thismorning.
Install was very easy. Getting my stock exhaust off was a little bit of a pain, but after that it probably only took me 15 minutes if that to install the Gibson. Right on par with the previous single exits I've had from them in the past. No clearance issues, very solid.
As far as sound, it's actually louder than I expected. Gibson does list their exhausts as being louder on the Dodge trucks than on the other makes, so it's not a real surprise. It's louder than the split rear I had on my 5.4L F-150. It's still probably not as loud as some here may like, but I'm very happy with it. No droning in the cab to speak of really, very nice deep tone, it even has a nice rumble at idle. Out on the highway you can still tell that it's not stock, but you don't have to turn your radio up or talk over it.
On the performance side, I do notice an improvement in throttle response and it does feel like a small increase in midrange power. I didn't expect to feel a huge difference as I don't think you will feel much of a difference with a 10-15 horsepower gain. As far as gas milage I haven't driven more than 30-40 miles so I don't know yet, and I will be ignoring my milage until I get over getting on it more than usual since it was just installed. I gained about 1mpg with the system on my old Ford, I hope to see about the same here.
