Default Superchips and octane question

My SC 3865 arrives Monday! Woot! I plan on using the 91 performance tune, however my favorite gas station has 87, 89, and 93 octane ratings. Mixing half 89, and half 93 is not the answer!

So what octane should I be using? Should I search out a gas station that specifically has 91?

93 is perfect! On the tuner is will say "The 91 performance tune is for 91 octane and above, Continue?" So your good with 93, actually itll probably be better anyway...Im always using 93 with my tuner on performance!

And adjust all your shift points and stuff too, thats something youll notice big time after your done setting it up!

Just run the 93, that's what I've done since I got the tuner. As long as you don't run lower than 91 with the performance tune you're good to go. There's also a petition post on the superchips forums to make a 93 tune for all vehicles if you feel like wandering over there to add one more name

Thanks. Are you being aggressive with those shift points or should they be pretty safe?
