Since the downstream O2 is most likely your culprit, and this only measures a difference between what the first O2 reads and what the second O2 reads (catalytic converter burns up the unused fuel/hydrocarbons thus a change in whats sensed), couldn't the second sensor be taken out of the pipe and fixed to, lets say, the frame where it is out of harms way and won't catch anything on fire (most are heated) to fake out the sensor? You would want the first one left in because it is required by the PCM to adjust fuel/air ratios accordingly. Someone let me know if I am off my rocker here...

Usually any performance shop/site would carry 'em or have access to ordering an O2 sim. IIRC they run anywhere from around $75 up for one or $125 up for two.

K im going to try taking the 02 sensor out and see if it works if i put it on the frame
ill let yall know how it goes
