Default New Dak!! (to me...)

I guess I am can now participate in the 3rd gen games! Getting my 2 year old into the back seat of my 01 CC was getting tiresome to say the least. I shopped it around and the best any dealer could give me was $1200 so I sold it private for $6k and for another $5k picked up this 05 low mileage QC

Specs:
3.7L RWD
6-Speed Getrag
SLT trim package
Truxedo LoPro Tonneau Cover
Brand New Cooper Dsicoverers

Plans (for when I fiscally rebound from the purchase):
Munroe Struts (love the new IFS, hate bottoming out all the time)
Flowmaster 40
CAI
Leather Shift **** - any ideas where I can get one of these?

Had some fun with the camera and photoshop...

Default Thats MY TRUCK!!!!!

I drive an identical one except mine has the 4.7.

I'm about ready to turn 30000 miles so I will have them put in some new plugs (not sure which ones yet), plus probably change the air filter according to the maintenance schedule.

I see I can go another year on the coolant change but might just change it anyway.

Good Luck on your new ride!!!!!!

Nice choice on the 6 speed. Makes it much easier to live with a V6. Also, check out something other than the Flowmaster 40. I have one, and it's been on my nerves since about 6 months after I bought it. I'd go with a higher end, quieter muffler next time.

A leather shifter would be quite nice. I like the style of the GM New Ventures, the joystick-grip ones. I'm sure one could be adapted.
