Oops. Forgot about that. All-in-all I think it's definitely worth the price I paid.

And....I have to say, after driving it some more yesterday (I live out in the boonies so going anywhere is at least 40 +miles round trip) I'm definitely noticing more power and what I believe to be firmer shifts. I now have about 190 miles on it with numerous key cycles.

The power is noticeable at cruise and WOT but not so much off the line. And the shifts, well it's kind of hard to tell because it's so subtle. But I would almost swear the 4th to 5th shift at WOT didn't "fart" like it used to. The shift felt faster. But like I said, it's subtle and may just be me wanting it to shift better.

I'm going to play around with some of the data logging features this weekend. And maybe try a 0-60 run. The stock 0-60 at sea level is about 8.4 seconds. So if I'm below that then I'm already doing good.

I agree. I'm not sure if the torque management is holding at back or what it is, I don't notice much until 3000rpms and then it really takes off after that.

I read this on the SC forum but don't know if it's true or not. Something was said that the programmer reduces torque management by something like 80%. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Default why I got my superchip

My truck's trans wouldn't lockup fully unless going over 58 mph then i would set cruise and slowed her down with the cruise , the other reason is towing ,it down shifted all the time and with a glasspack everyone knew it. Last but not lease my brother's 06 hemi maga cab after being chipped got better mpg than my truck . Now with the sc and now the k&n system I get as good as , if not better mpg, plus locks up sooner, tows better than before. One thing though it shift at just under 3000 , so I am sure the folks down the street hear me at 5:15 am going to work.. My mileage is gone right now due to 2 snow stroms ( 10 inches of snow with ice ) and cold temps ( this morning 7 below ) so the truck sits and warms up alot and will do so all week. They are forecasting below zero every morning . I am gald I got it out of the body shop the 18th because I was using my 79 litt red express while it was there. Nels

I cant confirm nor deny this accusation with hard facts, but from experience, I would agree with it only on the fact that I can chirp the tires with little if any effort, unlike before the tuner was in our lives.

Darn! No data logging capabilities. I can't view A/F or anything. It tried then came up and said something about no network J-1850 CAN. I don't remember the exact message but it would seem that for the moment you can't data log on the 08+ Dakotas. I tried a few times but no luck.

However, we do have the ability to turn off the Tire Pressure Monitoring System if we want or adjust the pressure threshold if you want to run less.

Ugh. Never mind. I had a brain fart. It does do data logging and so much more.
