hey everyone. i bought some niteshade to paint my taillights. from what i read it seems pretty simple. remove the taillights, prep and clean them. put a couple of coats on. let it sit overnight. wet sand to get the imperfections out and then put a couple coats of clear coat(i got dupli-color acrylic enamel.) i'll post some pics tomorrow when i'm done.

 

done with the taillights. 3rd brake light is turning out to be a pita. might have to get some rougher sandpaper to sand the lens.

turned out nice and if the third brake light is being a pain try and take it all off and start again that what i had to do

 

Sand it down til its all gone then continue sanding till you get to 2000 grit

 

i just sanded my third brake light down. it came off no problem. i'd imagine the taillights would be difficult compared to the third brake light though.

looks good man and eric sully is right its a lot of work i got my buddy to do it i quit lol but its a lot of work if you wanna do it
