Installing a remote starter
I just bought a 05 with a 3.7 auto, I'm about to install a galaxy 5100rs starter and I do not have a diagram. I need to know the following wire colors
Brake input
tach input
dome light
ignition
parking light
horn
starter output
constant 12 volt 25 amp (2 different)
heater/ac power
12 volt on with ignition
good ground
hood pin wire
if anyone has experience with this alarm or a alarm in this truck I could use suggestions. Thanks in advance

You will need to go to a place like best buy or circuit city and have them print you off a wiring data sheet...
I used to install, you dont want to get into it without an up to date wiring sheet... A lot of whats on our trucks is right under the column and the colors are all pretty close.
Plus it will tell you what resistances to use on relays and wires... its not just as simple as finding the wires and tapping them in on our trucks. every thing is run through the can and needs to be of proper resistance to keep everything happy.
When I helped my buddy do mine, we had to build a few relays and had to use a ton of resistors... Mines a viper remote start, alarm.

Best buy refused to print it, they said there was insurance issues but I did pull one up online. Looks like I only need the resistors for the door locks, and I need a relay for both the dome light and parking lights. I can get 2 standard relays right? Where did you guys mount the brain and shock sensor? I was thinking shock sensor on the fender next to the battery and brain behind the stereo if I have room, and use the stereo switched power for the switched power and the stereo ground for the ground wire.
My starter calls for one ignition input and 2 outputs, my wire list shows 3 ignition wires but does not say if they are in or out, does it matter which ones I use?
