How about, I say it this way...

What double din radio is the size of a mygig (to ensure the volume **** cutouts would be completely used) and is packed with tons of features? I mean bluetooth, nav, backup camera, speak destination (optional), and more control over your ipod instead of just having a fast forward button. Also, it'd be nice if you could speak your playlists when your iPhone is connected to the radio....

Does this exist?

I want something that fills the whole bezel like the mygig, but has more features... I didn't realize my Kenwood was so limited with music. You can't even pick where you want to fast forward to in a song. You have to just click forward or backwards..

Keep in mind if you end up having to cut a standard bezel to make your dbl din fit and then fill the edges to make it flush, try getting some pvc or plexi from lowes, cut to size with a dremmel, industrial super glue to attach, sand it flush, once satisfied re-painting the bezel is pretty easy. I just did mine. Took about 5 hours (most of it waiting to dry between coats) and about $30 in supplies. First wet sand the whole bezel (400-600 grit), 2 coats with a plastic primer, 2-3 light coats with what ever color you want (I went with a hammered silver for color and texture and misted over with black to darken), and finish up with 2-3 clear coats (glossy if you want it shiny or satin to not reflect as much), let it dry for at least 24 hrs before you install. Mine came out great.

I already have a double din in my 05 Dakota. I'm wondering if I would benefit from changing it to the MyGig.

The MyGig fills the radio volume **** cutouts completely.. Thats a huge plus for me... But, I still don't know enough about the features... I went to the site and got a general understanding of it though...

i think that looks fine i keep debating between a mygig and a reg one i think i am leaning towards a reg dvd screen just cuz of the price. ONce you pay for the unit then the adapter ur almost 600 you can get a good deck alpine on sale for 499 installed.

I just want something more flush haha. I also was sort of intriged by your voice being able to dial songs, navigation, and I think music. Not sure if you can voice pick your playlists on your iPhone though... If it did, that would sell me lol.

Looks like my DNX5120 is crapping out on me... I'm going to sell it along with the bluetooth receiver...

I think I'll replace it with this:

Does anyone have any good things to say about it?

Default New Radio Install!!!

Most recent pictures is the current install....

Thank you Bestbuy guy who did it on the side. The guy DIDN'T even have the radio with him when he fabricated my bezel. He did it all based on measurements!!
