and how did you get it to day dodge when it loads up and not chrysler

 

If you have a correct wiring harness, it's plug and play. That's how mine was done.

 

Correct wiring harness. As in stock or after market

 

The one the aftermarket comes with. It's usually connected into the back of your aftermarket radio and then on the opposite end of the harness is another plug and it goes to your stock vehicles harness.

Certain after market radios come with a wiring harness and some do not.. Make sure the wiring harness fits your stock wiring harness. If it doesn't, just get the correct one somewhere else.

 

Ok figured that's what you meant. Crutchfield is good with hooking ppl up with the right harness

Hi I just downloaded the Dodge load up screen onto the microSD card (used for the sat nav) and ran the "upgrade" routine to overight the Chysler logo. You can put what ever company logo you like on it, Ford, Chevy etc etc.

 

The cam bus kit and wiring harness kit comes with the unit, it just plugs straight in. The only mode I made was to disable the "disable DVD playback while driving" connection, so that mine, now in addition to outputting Video to the rearseat headrest TV's also output to the front head end while driving.

 

read my earlier postings above, it's a china import job bought from eBay, Plugs straight into the 05 posistion and has the two semi circular "lugs" which match up to the 05's internal design as shown in my attached photo. I do have other photo's but for some weird reason this forum only allows you to post about five photos max!
