i wish sleds.... i got those "dessert" gears as well! 4.10,s are going in in the spring. way to cold to take on that job this year! hope to improve the milage a few to the good! if i can keep my foot out of all the new pep she will have!!!!

4.7 HO 3.92 LSD........14 mpg average. But work pays for gas, and I enjoy thrust.

...to hide the fuel gauge so I'm not constantly looking at it. lol

Jesus. Just got new Hercules Terra Trac A/T's and reset the mpg counter...

Getting 10.1 MPG!! From 13, which was bad enough...

Thats almost single ****kkkkkkkkkkking digits.

10.1 MPG is pretty awful. Something might be wrong with the engine / trans. You couldn't fit tires big enough under a Dakota to rob you of that much mileage.

I'm hoping its because I just recently reset it and it needs a few days to calibrate. I was getting 13.6 before and I haven't done anything different except get 4 new tires.

FFFFFFFF

I do need to take it in for a tune up/oil change though.

i bet it's higher than the overhead by a bit.

welcome to the dak section, as for the mileage, i rarely get under 17 to the gallon, on the highway i hit the cruise at 65 drive in the slow lane and get a good 22-24 to the gallon, also i need to run the hightest because of the upgrades. the grade of gas you use could be the problem, also now that winter is coming the gas people put all the other crap in it for the season, which makes you lose mileage.
