Well I had nothing but bad luck getting my Trail master leveling kit on today and it's not even done yet.. Well I pre soaked all the nuts and bolts a week prior to doing this install with WD-40 then did another pre soak with PB blaster the night before and still broke both sway bar links even when I used a 2nd wrench on it get it near the top and bust the stud ..

I also rented a spring compressor for the struts and could not even get it close to where I could get it installed, so I took it to one shop they could not get the top nut off so after all that all the shops where closed so I will try again on monday.. By the way cant buy a sway bar link at any auto parts store around here everyone said not available it must be a dealer item only Oh yes they where closed as well just because it was a Saturday.. I don't know what quality parts Chrysler uses but you would think I was working a 10 year old truck and not 3 year old unreal thanks for listening.. Cya Slick

You basically duplicated my install. Go to the dealer and ask them to install it for you. They will snap at least one of the struts taking it apart and have to warranty it which will make it cheaper. I ended up paying less in extra labor for putting the kit in than I would have for new struts.

Hendrixx, how were you trying to post the pictures and where are they hosted (photobucket, flickr, etc)?

Well its finished and I love it, between the trail master leveling kit and the 2" blocks in the rear it actually feels like I am driving a truck the rear is 1" 3/4" taller then the front, I love it..Man it makes them stock 18" wheels look small LOL, so in spring time the wheels go and the after market get installed ..

If you do a leveling kit buy the dam swar bar links ahead of time from Rockauto seem to have the best price.. I had to get them from the dealer and even with my employee discount I still got bent over, Oh well.. I will admit the guy at the shop that I took the struts to was not a happy camper the nut on top both of them did not want to come off for anything even after soaking them in wd-40 and pb blaster not good, it's done and I love it.. I will include a picture but not a good one tho it snowed here.. Cya Slick

My truck is an ST, so it came with the standard Chrysler plastic front and the matching rear. Personally, I like the look of it on our trucks.

Well just picked the truck up from getting a front end alignment, I told them there was some play in the tie rod ends.. There was only play in the drivers side but they warranty both of them sweet, now on to the next mod .. Cya Slick
