Hey where is a good place to get a nice grill guard for a 2005 Dakota? I have searched the internet for them but I haven't seen anything that was worth the money. Thanks

 

I have an 05 Dakota also.
Just wanted to let you know that i've been looking and calling people for stuff for my truck for about 2-3 weeks now, There not much out there yet. Some say check back late summer or Fall / Winter time.

As i see it, i still got about 4-6 months before after market stuff start coming. I just hope the `05 dont have the problem not running a superchip like the `04's have because i really want another superchip. I had one in my `95 Ranger and loved it.

If you've seen grill guards for `04 and below chances are they'll have them for the `05's in a few months.

But then again, maybe someone here has seen your item and knows where you can get them. woot woot.

I saw the pictures of your truck on here and I was wondering if that if a different grill that you have put on yours?

 

Nope thats a `05 Grill with a Mopar Bug Deflector i got from Dodge. cost about $90.00 i think.

 

I have one more question for you. I have seen on pics of stock 05 Dakotas that have the chrome bug deflector, but i didn't get the right package or something. There has to be some place that sells them but it might be the same deal as the grill guards where they won't have any available for a few more months.

Also if you go to http://www.mopar.com/

Then pick Dodge Accessories, then pick the 05 Dakota then on left pick Shop for other Dodge Accessories then exterior accessories then Air Deflectors then air deflectors, front. They have the Chrome one as well.
