Keep the dakota and let the little woman pick something out suitable for a family vehicle. ( Mid size car or SUV) Something a few years old with some remaining factory warranty. I only had one vehicle while in the military but it quickly became a major pain in the civi world. Even if she's a stay at home mom it's better for her to have wheels while your at work to haul the kids back and forth. After school activities and what not. That way if your job has overtime you can pick it up. I always try to have one vehicle paid for and one newer one. Works fine until the kids grow old enough to drive themselves then it get real expensive.
Good luck with the family.

I have a Quad cab and an R/T Magnum, so I say you can't go wrong either way. Depends if you want covered cargo area or you need to carry tall stuff sometimes.

458 RWHP Magnum would be tight! Guarantee it goes for quite a bit though.

the insurance is out of control though.
Talked to my step-dad today, he buys and sells cars wholesale. I told him to keep his eyes peeled, hopefully he can hook it up. We'll see.
