Default 05-06 and 08 suspension

Are they the same? I want to try out the chassis tech 3.5'' lift kit for the front . I was going to use the 2.5'' spacers on top of that making it a 6'' lift up front and I was going to use 4'' blocks in the rear plus shocks.

Here my question. Will I need to the the drive shaft extended and since I am using blocks in the rear what else do I need besides shocks.

Also does anyone make a 1'' to 1.5'' leveling kit?

yes, the 05-08 are all the same.

i take it yours is a 2wd? there is no way that will work on a 4wd, and 6in of lift on the stock lower control arms,? doesnt sound like a very good idea, they will be almost vertical... the rear shaft will depend on the length of the truck and the lift, in a lot of cases, a 6in lift and under, doesnt require drive shaft extention, but there are very few people that have bigger than 2in blocks n the rear of these daks, so may be a learning expeirence

So that plan is scrapped. I called Chassis Tech. They only have the 3.5'' lift kit right now. According to them usins the Leveling kit on top of it even an 1'' would through off the allinment to the point where you could not correct it.

With the 2.5'' Leveling Kit you guys are using 1-1.5'' blocks and the truck is level and the 2'' blocks give you a little rake correct. I was gonna get 2'' block with some leaf spring helpers so i can pull my triler with no sagging.

Is your rig a 2WD or 4WD? As I understand it, a 2.5" leveling kit for a 4WD would be too much lift and potentially cause CV bind. However, I believe there was one member on this forum that stated he has a 4x4 and ran the 2.5" kit in the front. After asking him for feedback, neither I (nor any other member, as I understand it) got a response.

Now, for the 2WD, there are leveling kits in the 2.5" configuration. You will still get a little bit of angle out of the front sway bar end links, but it is tollerable ( assuming you do not wheel the truck often). Honestly, I wish a company made longer sway bar end links for our trucks just accomodate the 1.5" leveling kit. It's not that we can't wheel our trucks with out them, but it would help with the longevity of the ball and socket joint on the lower control arm.

or you could be smart and stay away from chassis tech.
