Angry Does anyone get "Flashed" by oncoming traffic at night??

I get it just about ALL the time..... I'll be driving down an area that doesn't have any lighting and oncoming traffic will flash their high beams at me thinking that mine are on... Obviously they aren't on... I usually run my lows with my fog lights... Even with my fog lights off people STILL flash me...

Some people even leave their high beams on after I flash back and demonstrate that my lows are indeed on.... It's not like I have HID's or something. All stock...

It's getting annoying...

i used to get it bad, espesally after my leveling kit, there is an adjustment screw just inside each light near the bottom for up and down adjustment, no more problems for me, even with all my lift

I'm not sure... I have an 05. My headlights are aimed perfectly though, so I'd rather not change them. The cut off is not blinding at all... You can see that my lights usually hit the rear bumper when I'm behind someone and my high beams go right through the back windshield into the drivers face... So, I know they are aimed correctly.

I get it a lot, what I tend to do, is if know the type of vehicle, and if they flash me, when I have my low beams on, I flash them, then if they flash me again, for WHATEVER reason, I just shut my lights off.

Problem solved...

well, I go the other way. I have projectors and when I get flashed, first I flash back (the hi and low beam are seperate lights. so instead of 2 lights showing, they see 4) If thay still flash after that, I put on my aux driving lights. so they are now looking at

lol! On my old truck I had lights mounted on my truck box that faced at about a 45 degree angle to the side. If I got flashed, I would flash back, and if they kept their brights on, I would throw the truck box lights on. That would basically blind them! Now that I am older, I realize this may not have been the best idea. lol. I like the idea frenchy has to just turn off the lights. A little bit more passive than my old approach haha.

I got that all the time when I first got my truck, adjusted my headlight and now I only get flashed if I have my HID Fogs lights on! (and there not even pointed high)

on the inside of the light (grill side) there are three screws, I think the middle one is the adjustment screw, (the other two hold the light housing) you should be able to see the reflector move inside the plastic headlight housing when you adjust this screw

Hey Frenchy, How does turning the lights off work, If my truck is in gear my headlight running lights come on, did you bypass something or is that a stock setup.
Or are you reffering to other cars you drive?

my truck doesn't have automatic headlamps...

In Canada it's required by law to have DRLs...

That's not how it is in the states...
