the very front body mounts are giving my trouble the top of it is just spinning and i cant seem to get anything on the washer. there is no nut on top.
should i just cut the head?
If you cut the head off you might have a problem pulling the bolt threw the top of the mount with all the stuff in the way
Try a strap wrench, that should work if the bushing isn't all greasy.
When i did mine i was able to wedge a pair of channel locks in there after i broke my strap wrench

i tack welded a bar about 6'' long to one of mine to get it off, if you are going to do this... you will still need the steering extention and have to relocate the radiator and core support...
i held off on the project was just playing around with the idea. even with an inch i would need a steering extension? i figured about the shroud though
If your still having issues with the front mounts spinning just pour some penetrating oil on it from the top and let it sit a few days. I had the same issue when i put my tow hooks on. It took care of the problem for me. Hope i'm not to late
ya you could do that or just go to summit racing and pay the 275 for the kit. how thick is a hockey puck? 3/4? whats that gonna get you anyhow? i'll have my body lift on in the next couple weeks i'm hoping
i no 3 trucks where i live with 2 hockey pucks glued together the look good but when i did my lift woth those guys they couldnt belive how much easier it was with the whole kit so i say go with the kit but its ur call
