I am having trouble searching the internet for a decent stubby. Didn't we used to have a guy who made these custom? Or does anyone know a good website? (don't say dakotatrucktoys plz)

Off subject: I was at Vandenberg AFB in Cali in June and I swear I saw your truck there in a parking lot. If not someone in the Air Force copied your truck real close. There are allot of bases I’m at that soldiers and contractors that have Daks. I see them all the time. Most of the Siemens service trucks are Gen 3 all years.

Yeah I've been looking for one myself, but for my wife's Jeep instead. She has the exact same antenna that I do, but her's hits the support beam in our garage and mine doesn't because her's is mounted higher on the fender.

I refuse to go with the cheap ones because I hear the reception is bad and they corrode easily.

I literally only need an inch or so to get hers to clear, so length doesn't even matter for me. I may even try and find some oem ones at the yard that may fit from another car, just to see if it'll work.

I got my stubby from performance products, get pretty good reception with it and it fit the base great, I'll have a link for you guys in a minute, sorry I don't have a better picture of it, mine's the 15" black powder coated.

I got a 14" polished one from EBay a few weeks back. The reception is a little worse, but good enough for 90% of the places I drive to. I can get some pics later if anyone wants to see it.

I can't remember what the members name was on here that made mine.

But he made me one and sent it to me totally free.

It's about 5" long, though. So, basically no reception, but that's fine with me.
