Default Update

Well, it's been going slower than I wanted, but it still in the works, slowly coming together,

The the main shape of the pod is ready, just need to build the bottom to close it up and get a few small things fixed. I have to build the bottom on my dash itself it get the shape just right, once this is done I'll add the top to it and merge the two pieces, let it dry, cut off the extra, and start sanding and filling, and then sanding more.

Once all that is done then I have to Paint the thing. probably going to go with the same silver as the dash center consule, (or as close as I can get to it, we'll see)

The Green foam (soaker Foam for plants) that I used worked awesome for the shape building, and is super easy to form and remove from the mold once dry. it does make a mess though.

More updates to come.

Here's some Pics

Smile Update on the build!

Here are some more pics of the Pod,
I now have the base of the unit built!

First needed to protect the truck from the Fiberglass

I used a flexable green liner (similar to a pool liner, but more rubber-ish)

Some Fiberglass goes down

And more Fiberglass - (used 4 sheets of cloth for the base)

It's still not all that pretty to look at, but it will start to look better as I get more of it done.

Hopefully I will get some more done here fairly quick,

Good work. On things like this you don't want to rush, take your time and make it how you want.
