As crazy as it sounds, get on his website and email him. HE emails you back personally and will answer all of your questions and help you pick a size...
^^^This right here. I was 100% surprised he got back to me so fast. If I had a metal TB I wanted bored out, he'd be the one I go to.

But I was a bit premature in my question to him because at the time I had no idea the '08+ 4.7L TB's are a fiber composite. So making the I.D. larger is not going to be the same. The walls are about 1/8" thick too, so there isn't much to work with. I'm now looking into seeing if the TB from the Hemi's will work. Or if I can move the guts of the Hemi TB to the 4.7L TB.

Airram has an adapter that will let you use the 05-07 4.7l TB with the 08+ manifold. However you would have to make the older TB work with your truck which could end up being more trouble than it's worth.

Yeah, I wish I could use a cable operated TB. These new ones are about 74mm so I'm thinkin' 80mm should be a good start. And I think the Hemi's start at 80mm. The custom ones go up to 90mm for the 6.1L Hemi's.
