Angry Front end Rattle??????

Guys I have a rattle that is driving me crazy..... it is in the drivers passanger front side.
I have checked the brakes? Even bought that silicone stuff to put on the brake backs to reduce noise. Nothing??? Checked Torsion bars, nuts bolts everything and Found nothing. I removed the brakes, rotor , cleaned everything up but its still there. Its very loud when I hit a bump in the road, however when I apply the brakes it stops? its worse than brake chatter? Could it be a shock? CV joint? Ball joints are new so that is also out. Still cannot figure why when the brakes are applied it stops but when the tires are off cant find anything loose?? Any suggestions?

I had that happen to me It turned out being a sway bar bussing, Make sure there all are in place when i tap the brakes it would cause the truck to stop vibrating it was very anoying otherwise might be one of your struts or a ball joint/tierod where do u feel the vibrating in the steering wheel or in ure seat?

I feel it in the seat.. But you can hear it rattle with the window up?? It is very loud when the window is down.. I checked the sway bar bushings and replaced the links? lower ball joints are new also... And yes it stops when the brakes are applied?

Check the Tie Rods, I know my truck made noise every bump, had them both replaced and the noise was gone.

do you think bad tie rods could create a 'clunk' over every bump and make my steering feel awkward (as in sometimes loose, sometimes tight)?

I was thinking it was the sway bar end links until I read about the tie rods.

I just figured out that it was my tie rod ends. clunked over bumps and sometimes i would here it clunk when the front end squatted under braking. i checked a few months ago and couldn't find it. the other day i was able to feel play in the tie rod end(s) when i pulled up and down very hard.

Not happy to hear people are having these front end problems. I regularly drive 10 miles round trip on a pretty bad road. Just got rid of another notorious bad front end vehicle ('99 F150). Had 2 tie rods seperate on me while driving, luckily at very low speed. They each had about 90K miles on them, their sisters was also in bad shape.

I already have an unidentified clunk. Going to narrow it down when I change the shocks, hopefully.
