Every truck is different. 13, 18, 25, 40 MPG, who cares. Save a few bucks and use oil that is perfectly good, or buy some high tech advertising and put the empties on your mantlepiece. It all works the same, it's just about how special you want to feel.
And thanks for namecalling. You are the king of one-upsmanship around here, rather than just offering advice. Did you want the windbreaker or the collectable mug?

So a huge promotional discount invalidates my arguement that premium small-brand synthetic might push $20 a bottle?
Even big-brand (Quaker State, Mobil) synthetic at an auto parts store is easily $15 a bottle.
Its such a minor issue I hate myself for perpetuating this thread. But there's just no need to bullsh*t or claim half-truths just to sound like the pro. Good for you, congrats, you win, $9 oil, awesome MPG, fu*kin great.
05dakota4x4, not bitching at you. Nice truck

Royal Purple ran me 60 bucks for 3 bottles for the 75w-140. And IIRC Amsoil was something liek $25+ a bottle...
