thought i'd show everyone the diferences in hieght and width of these two sizes. BFG mt vs AT new vs worn. niether tire is inflated.

What are the sidewalls? Are they the same? 70 / 75 ?

they are 255 75 r 17 and 265 70 r 17. i was pleasantly surprised by the difference in hieght.

i have some more pictures, but i can't upload anymore. did i use up all my uploadable space? i joined photobucket, but i don't know which url to use for a pic or link to a pic. i never had a problem uploading before, i think i always made them smaller.

The first part of the driving in the yard story is that i got the dak stuck in it the other day. i was trying to pull the truck out (by myself) with my jeep before nobody saw me. My neighbor pulled up right then, and I sheepishly took him up on his offer to help and he pulled me out w/ his Z71. I was so mad i went inside and immidiately ordered tires. Like i said, earlier, i drove back in the same spot today, with well over the recomended payload capacity, in two wheel drive no problem. dignity restored.
