Default Finding aftermarket wheels

I cannot believe how impossible it is to locate after market wheels for my truck. All I want is some 17x8 wheels that are black in color. Where do you find your wheels?

I found these:

Very close to the look I want.

I know there's another thread about offset. Is the -12 offset a bad thing? Also, I see the rims are 17x9. What will happen when I put my tires on them? The rims I currently have are 17x8. Yes, tires are P265/65R17

This should answer your question, put in your #'s

Looks like they'll stick out a bit.

Slick Dakota measured the offset on 18X8 rim, & determined that it was +38.
Not sure on 17x8 rims.

I just ran a tape measure on my spare set of rims, they match what I have in the picture of my truck, and I am now even more confused. They don't appear to be 17x8. I measured from outside the rim to the other outside and got about 9.5 inches. Did I measure them wrong? Or is it the inside of the bead that I measure? I figured they were 17x8 because someone told me that's what they are.

Check e-bay, you will probably find a set like yours for sale and they often times have the offset listed!

I was told my rims were 17x8.5
Yours might be the same.

From reading the other thread the -12 offset is a bad thing, means the tire will be in the wheel well farther and will rub on the inside easier. you should have a +38 off set on the stock 17" rims.
any thing above 0 is ok from what I understand. don't go into the nagitive #'s
