Raider Quesations
1. With the Dakota Tails fit on the Raider?
2. Isn't the Raider 3.7L the same as the 2005-2007?
The reason I ask the second question is because I have found some performance parts i would like to get installedo n the car so I want to make sure they will fit before I order.
Is there a difference between the 07 and 08 motors?
3. How are you guys lowering your trucks? I want to lower mine but keep the abillity to haul a trailer
4. Show I lower it or should I keep it lifted
5. Do the dakota fender Flares fit the Raider?

i dont think the lights will fit
there is a couple kits out there if you look at scottscan he has a nice set up with bags and his is lowered.
if you like it lifted keep it lifted but you are not going any higher unless you do full custom(if you wanna sell your leveling kit i will buy it lol)
the fenders might be close but you would really have to measure or ask another dakota if you could try

we never got the HO option in the V8 that the dakota was offered. (sorry, i'm a little bitter about that.)
I dont think the tail lights will work.
I dont know about the V6.
Mine is lowered with springs in the front, took one leaf out, and exchanged another for one less arced. You "Tow" a trailer, and you shouldnt have a lot of weight on your tongue if your towing, so it wont matter if you take from your payload.
Do what works best for you
Why would you want to put dakota fenders on a raider? yuck. (but if you did, then the tail lights would fit)

Reading comprehension...this thread needs it.
1) I don't know, my guess is that the tail lights are not perfectly exchangable.
2) Asking whether a Raider 3.7L is the same as a 2005-2007 makes no sense. The Chrysler 3.7L V6 engine was updated in 2007, probably the most notable is the change to a drive-by-wire servo actuated throttle plate. Allpar.com has an article on this motor.
The 2008 3.7L puts out as much power and torque as the 2007 model year. The 4.7L V8 recieved major changes for 2008 however.
3) Rear Airbags
4) No, but who cares what other people think. Do what you want.
5) Fender flares probably wouldn't look as clean as if they were installed on a Dakota.

Trending Topics
What I redad on Motor Trend is that they used the same 3.7L motor in the Raider and never changed it so it would be the same as the 05 Dak.
I think the Fender Flare would fit. I was going to See if the Dak Tail fit if not I have a shop that can fiber glass the to make them fit or a little bondo I need to get the rear Bumper repaint to might as well do it all at once.
