Default Flowmasterr question

ok so a buddy of mine has dual flowmasters on his 2nd generation dakota that he got when he bought it. he hates the sound of them and told me he would give them to me if he could have my stock exhuast. My question is will his flowmasters on his 2nd gen fit my 3rd gen

with a little modification, yes, they are shorter that the OEM muffler. and you will only need on (unless you are going to really make mods) and if that is the case, no problem. They should be offset, side in opposite side out and then a 2 foot (approx) extension for your pipes to make the connection.

i have the flowmaster on my 05 dakota an hate it, the sound is terrible an the noise in the cab just sucks. dont do it. tell your friend to get rid of the mufflers an get a nice set of cherry bombs or magnaflow, then the truck will sound nice
