Sas
There are no pictures to my knowledge of a 3rd generation Dakota with a front Solid Axle installed.
It would be as difficult, expensive and in my opinion, pointless, as any solid axle swap into any modern IFS light truck.

SAS = solid axle swap (though i think you have all caught up with that). From what I read, it seems that it could be more difficult than a typical SAS, "into any modern IFS light truck." This is because of the polygonal frame around the engine bay. Although...if anyone knows of a way to do this....I would drop a few grand to have it done :-D

send it here to CA, i'll do it for ya
... thats the plan for mine once i start to have issues with my ifs, but i only have 6k miles, and still under warrenty, so it may be a little while yet before i get to mine
The front frame sections are definitely something to be considered. I think with coil springs and leading arms / radius arms, you could avoid having to attach anything ahead of the box frame.
And I'd still avoid it like the plague, but that's me.
