Default Trans Cooler Line Leak

My Transmission Cooler Line is leaking where the rubber hose meets the metal fitting between the motor and the radiator. Small drips. My guess is super cold weather is taking its toll on the fitting. Any advice or cost estimates from anyone who may have had this problem? I know Biker Ahoy started a post on this (see link below), but it never went any further than to say it was fixed under warranty. Most of the thread was hi-jacked by cracked fog light lenses

ya, I had under 30000 when I got mine replaced.
Not sure what the cost on that would be, be shouldn't be too bad, its just a hose with fittings on each end.

Mine has 70k too. I havent taken a very hard look yet. Just noticed a couple of 3-4 drip puddles in the drive and saw it was coming from that fitting. It's probably fine when warm, but when it gets down to zero at night, the fitting shrinks and hardens. So I will replace it. Anyone replaced it themselves? From a glance, you couldn't see the ends of the lines as they went back through the motor, and under plastic at the radiator.....and it's too damn cold to get on the ground.

just a quick thought for a DIY repair, you could cut the aluminum lines, just the other side of the rubber hoses, put a small flare on it for insurance (napa sell the simple tools to do this very cheap) then just put a new rubber hose and some clamps on...

Thanks guys. Looks like a pretty easy swap.....but $130 doesnt sound too bad. I think I may have hit a snow bank after some reflection. I'm gonna pony up for a skid plate if they damage that easily.
