I run 1-1/4" hub centric bolt on spacers. They are a little more matinence, you need to re-torque them every 3-5k miles but other wise they really dont put anymore stress on suspension than an offset wheel would. the more of the wheel outside the centerline of the hub the more the stress, therefore a stock wheel with spacer or aftermarket with large offset put the same amount of stress on bearings and ball joints.

Ok I missed the part you saying your offset was +12 DOHHHH.. I am going to guess your rim width is 8", take a measurement and see how much room you have between your tire or rim what ever is closest to your suspension components and see what you have, that would be a good start.. Cya Slick

I would say that is a good thing, because you have to get that tire/wheel away from the suspension.. with the stock wheels being in the range of +25 to +38 it tucks it way in under the fenderwall compared to a +18 and plus +12 which brings it out a tad.. Cya Slick

Hey Slick, are you a Cooper Tire dealer? Every picture has the Zeon tires. Nice tire.

Definitely not. I had 1/2 inch wheel spacers on my big block Monte Carlo it put a lot of extra stress on the lug studs they sheared off and crushed in my quarter panel

as long as you get the bolt on ones and not the cheapo slip on ones nothing will break because its the same concept as a wider rim....

last time i checked, wider rims wont break your suspension...because ive got them
