Talking New Dak owner in WA soon to be FL

Hey guys,

My name is Jeremy Fox I am an AE2 in the Navy and am currently stationed in Whidbey island WA and will be transfering back to Jax FL in may or so I bought a 05 dak laramie QC 4x4 with leather and the upgraded sound with 31k miles on it in DEC 09.

New truck owner here but have owned tons of cars and wranglers so no noob questions here except for one. For the freakin life of me i cannot figure out how to lower the back seats. Checked the owners manual and all it says is that yeas if you have the QC you have back seats. LOL.

I had bought the ipod ipac-chy adapter for our trucks to use the ipod to emulate a ves system but it did not work on my truck even with two of the adapters and pac audio says its my trucks radio is the problem. What was happening was when you hooked it all up it could use two channels on the ves but it wasnt. all it did was cycle between the channels.

For upgrades I have already installed the besttop moto extender for the truck so i can cary my 06 wolverine atv when my wife doesnt want to go riding.

In the future I am looking at the mygig upgrade (have read the write ups on it and doesnt sound too bad) not super keen on grinding out my dash though. Also the electric fan upgrade will be coming before i transfer so when I tow my crap from WA to FL it will help out all around.

Congrats on the buy and welcome to DF!

Which radio do you have? There should be a three letter code on it somewhere, probably starts with R.

Hey,

I had just saw one of the other guys that had just installed a shallow sub box behind the seat. I had just thought that the seat came down, no big deal i don't need it dropped down. Thanks for the info.

I have the RAQ radio. The six disc changer, I want the mygig without nav but I do plan on getting the u-connect sometime afterwords.

I saw that we need the low speed radio.

Yah I am going back to NAS Jax with my wife in May this year. I have been there before and still own my house in the argyle forest area.

Im waiting on my taxes then i am doing the E-fan mod but I think im going with a flex a lite fan. I've been reading reviews and people have said they last a long time.

I forgot to mention I've got the Amp research moto-xtender for my bed. I love it two extra feet who doesn't need that in a short bed
