will a ram 4.7 supercharger fit onto our truck? i mean its the same exact engine right?

i found this kenne bell one for the ram and i wanted to know if there is something i am missing if i were to try and install this

plus that supercharger is old, those models were destroying motors

 

dang so if i wanted to supercharge my truck how would i go about doing that? and ive only seen the one guy on here with it so i assume it isn't easy or cheap...

 

There are a couple of guys on dak-dur running those in G2 Dakotas with some pretty good results.

just email KB and ask what the newer model is for the ram 4.7 and it will bolt up but you'll have to do some bay work. along with the requirements like tune, fuel, stuff like that. but physically....yes itll bolt in

 

ok sweet. but will a 2nd gen dakota supercharger bolt on?

 

4.7 is 4.7. 2nd gen 3rd gen, whatever. only minor differences were made between the years. none that would affect bolt alignments or layout of the top end.

 

so it is very possible if i can just find a 2nd gen dakota 4.7 supercharger.
