Default USB Ports

Has anyone here installed any usb ports in their Dakota? It'd make charging my stuff a little easier, since I only have one lighter plug.

It shouldn't be too hard, but if someone else has already done the thinking, I'd sure like to see the results.

I have a USB charger that plugs into the 12V dc outlet, your easiest bet may be to get one of those and remove the case then just wire it up using the connections to the terminals on it.

They make adapters. Many different brands. Go to Google shopping, and search for "12v dc to usb"

I bet it will still power the USB port, which will charge a cell.

Yeah, those are cool. My daughter and her man in Germany have those in their VW and BMW. They carry their music on their key chain (with a quick release flash drive) and play it in either car they're driving.

It's actually for my iphone or any other USB connected mp3 player. It charges my iphone as well, which is nice.
