i think it really depends on how its driven. if its more for looks than off roading, i think the leveling kit will be fine. however if you are one that really puts the truck in extreme elements, and fully extends the suspension often i can see where it will wear parts prematurely. just my thought

Thanks monkeywrench, I'll keep that in mind. Lifting my truck is not a big concern right now, just want to have an idea of how much of an investment it is, what other parts of the suspension should be upgraded at the same time (to avoid issues), and what pit falls to avoid. All great info though, Thanks!

so with all the measurements and such, what company or name brand do you guys trust to go with? i know some folks have there favorites and such but i have no such thing. i just want a good strong product.

I have the TM lift, nothing has worn out that I am aware of. I wish they had a 2" Body lift, not a big fan of the 3"

make one with 2 hockey pucks thats what tonnes of my buddies do. you dont have to do any engine moves the rad and stuff and the bumper you can keep in place and it doesnt look that bad

how do you do that with hockey pucks and after a while wouldnt the pucks break.

you know a coworker just told me that, and the same thing popped into my head. i would rather have a professional lift instead of hockey pucks.
