Default Another gears ?

I called Yukon and was asking about 4.10's, for front AND rear since I have 4x4, and he said he can't get me fronts! Something about our front axle having some kind of forward/reverse thingy mabobber that required OEM gears to replace it. Has ANYone ever heard of this? Because after all my research and talking to guys with gears, no one has ever told me I have to get anything different for the front end...
I will also take any recommendations besides Yukon since they can't help me. I know I don't like motive gear though.

Yeah, I've never heard of that either. And I'm talking with the guy right now that is going to be doing my 4.10's and he never mentioned anything like that. Said it was a regular 8" (N205F) front and 9.25" rear. Same as the Ram's.

He was referring to forward cut (low pinion) and reverse cut (high pinion) gears..

I have no idea how or if this pertains to your truck, but that's what he was talking about..

Yeah Hahns got it, thanks. I would think my truck would have it since he looked up my specific vehicle year and model and said he couldn't help me...
I will try to get in touch with Peter, thanks superdak.
Didn't realize this was going to be complicated...

Alright here you go Mr Canada. Randy's ring and pinon, and accu auto parts (google search them) have gears for front AND rear. What you do is enter your vehicle info and you must separately order gears for your rear end (9.25) and your front end (8.0), along with the install kits. Accu Auto has some really high shipping though, I am going to order mine through Randy's website. Hope this helps
