good luck with trying to add a lot of power to our 3.7l not much out there for them. the headers for the rams prob will not work due to the ram having much more room in the engine bay. the jet chips all the reviews for the people say they are a waist of money not to mention i cant find a 180 degree thermostat for our truck needed for the stage two chip. if you want to do a turbo look into a remote turbo system if you want to do much more than 6 psi your going to need to do some work bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors, tuning not to mention you would have to prob do some interneral motor work and maybe some trans and rear end work. the best three things you can do to them right now is the intake, exhaust, and e-fan. as far as your exhaust what is a stage 2 flowmaster exhaust. on the exhaust issue headers and high flow cats and high flow muffler sound good but on these computer controled engines you need a minimum amount of back pressure or your going to burn the valves and pistons up. in the long run if your wanted a powerfull dakota you should have got the 4.7l or an older model with the 5.2 or 5.9

well. my intake iss off ebay fo 75 bucks. it sounds great & i see a significant diff in temps etc. i see a little better mid & high rpm torque but for the most its a nice look. znd i was thinking of doing a turbo before the muffler. under the truck with an up pipe etc. and even @ 6 psi it would make SO MUCH more power lol. but i bought this truck because its cheap & available.

you can buy my chip it changes the shift points pretty nicely but the power is mostly up high and i need to torque for pulling toys so it was fun to drive but i'd rather have the money to put into gears.

You can make a 180 T-Stat not hard there is a post somewhere in here from years ago when I did mine... Also I've heard of alot of issues with the Jet chips, such as the ECU re-learning and losing the gains of the Jet Chips not to mention, either the stage I or II requires you to run Premium...

Ya if your lookin to spend that kind of money on a custom turbo set up why waste the money on a chip. My FIPK2 Kit had a noticeable low end difference. Same with my flowmaster cat bak. I've never heard of a "Stage 2" flowmaster. I would suggest stayin off ebay if thats the case. ASP makes a reduction crank pulley that should help with reducing drag off the water pump, ac, etc.... i also found a place in michigan that will flash your ecu and change things for any mods you have called B&G performance. Thats on my wish list. I put an e-fan in. no power gains just mpg gains. If you have the money you can make it happen but i have been fighting the same uphill battle for a while now.
