Default 33"'s are going on with out a body lift...

Ok, so after a long wait, I finally aquired a used set of Firestone Destination M/Ts. 285/75/16s. So, I will find a set of shwag wheels to mount them on, and get all the clearancing done. Honestly, I dont think I will have to do that much. Most of the clearancing will be done on the factory mud-flaps in the front and the wheel liners. I will roll the insides of the rear fenders.

If I am correct, would this be the first attempt with out the 3" body lift?

With the right offset, 33s will fit.

I had them on mine for a very short time, and with just street driving, they never touched anywhere. If I ever went off road and made the suspension work, they would have hit all over.

I had my home made 3" front and 2" rear kit on it.

I took them off as they killed my power. Too heavy. Too large a diameter.

Good look with yours, I hope it works out for you.

What was the offset of the wheels you had?

It was either stock, or .5" out.

I know too far out and it would hit the mudflap on the front as it would shift the wheel/tire outward.

I thing the best backspacing to run is either stock or .5" less.

DT, I know you went through a lot trying to do the same thing, lol. We will see how the mock-up goes.
