Exclamation tires and rims?

i purchased the daystar leveling kit, 2 in blocks for the rear and im waiting till next weekend to put them in. i also bought a set of 265/75 r16 nitto dune grapplers that look freakin awsome (plus i do all my offroadin out here in the desert). my question is what size rim should i be looking to get? obviously a 16 in rim, but should it be 16x8? 16x10? how much backspacing do they have to have? and the lug pattern is 5-5.5 correct? thanks

16 x 8 is correct with 5 x5.5. I can't remember the backspacing but and good wheel dealer (Tire Rack) can tell you what offsets will work.

16x8. I think the backspacing was 114mm.

Hey nicholas, I had a post about 2 weeks ago inquiring about fitting the 285's with only a 2' leveling kit. Sounded like a major pain to get them to fit. Removal of the inner fender liner, rock gaurd at rear of front fender, trimming of front bumper, and posible sheet metal trimming. I'm just going to stick with the 265/75's and call it good. You could be the first to try it though!

I don't thing you'll be into the sheet metal, but you will be into the front mud flap/ splash guard big time. You may also be into the front plastic fender liner. Be a hero for everyone else and try it ...or not.
