Do they have a kit for an exit in front of the rear wheel? If not I will just get it custom bent. I will never have a different exhaust exit again after falling in love with the side exit...

Your probably just better off not going with an MBRP then. It wont sound anything like any of our sound clips because being dumped before the tire will make it sound raspy, and your paying $300+ to only use half the system. You could always look at a MBRP muffler, but I wouldnt buy a full system. Just my honest opinion.

Yeah, even getting a muffler shipped would beat the whole cost of a system. I do like the exhaust exiting before the tire, but it probably wouldnt look right on my truck.

I dunno what to do about piping though. If I just get the muffler and have a shop bend me pipe.. where do I get some good SS pipe from? They would probably over charge me... I wish there were more MRBP soundclips!

Trucky, Ill be getting sound clips up soon. March 6th will be the latest that I install my system.
Around here, a lot of the muffler shops cant even bend stainless pipe. And if they can, it might not be mandrel bent. You would have to call around. Have you looked at the Gibson supertruck exhaust. I think its under $400 but I cant remember.

I forget but it is cheaper than it used to be so that's good. Plus it's one of the only side exit systems I know of for our truck as far as in front of rear wheel. I never thought I would say this, but MBRP might be too loud for me... after I get high flow cats and 212 cams... it will be a headache to drive. This coming from a 23 year old with nothing but a 4" pipe coming out of the y-pipe right now. I don't have kids or a woman but... neighbors, dates, so on so forth... gotta have SOME manners. So gibson may be better. I know it's really loud, but MBRP is almost straight pipe from what I can see.

Trucky, if you want mandrel bent 409 stainless, I can give you the name of the guy that did it for me. I sent him the dimensions and he bent it and had it shipped in a couple days. Even arrived by the end of the week, and dropped in perfectly. Was only $65 shipped for it.

Cool! That prompts 3 questions.
1: Is it good stainless steel? As in is it holding up well through winter and such?
2. How did he know where to bend it if he didn't have your truck?
3. What's his name
