Default Headlight / Electrical Issue

Did a search - need help, please. I hope I'm overlooking something simple but I just can't figure out what's going on. I needed a driver side headlight bulb. Decided to replace both driver and passenger side this afternoon. Just the bulbs, nothing else. I went out this eve and low beam is very low, the high beam seems fractured or distorted and is not as bright as the low beam was previously, the hi beam indicator light on the dash is on regardless of the beams being on high or low (its off when the lights are off) and the fog lights turn off when I turn on the headlights. Anyone come across something like this?

Thanks.

What bulbs did you use to replace the burnt out one?

it should just be plug and play, I'm not sure what's going on there.

The way they are dimmed it seems like they are just the wrong bulbs.
