Got my Rancho's and TM kit ordered....
Quick update:
So I got the truck down last night and drove about 40 miles. The difference between before and after the upgrades is unbelievable. The entire truck feels so much tighter. I am guessing that most of it is due to the Rancho's plus the slightly higher pre-load on the front strut from the leveling kit. I bought the truck used with about 15k and about a year and a half old, I can honestly say it feels better now then the day I bought it. A much tighter feeling when hitting bumps/potholes. No more of the "floating" feeling. Some may like the softer ride of the stock setup, but I am most definitely not one of them.
As for the leveling kit and blocks, I should've went with the 1" rear blocks instead of the 2". It pretty much has the same overall rake as stock, just a little taller. I should've known better. Oh well, it is an easy fix to replace the rear with a 1" block now that I have the extended u-bolts. I think the truck now looks like it should've looked stock. I would honestly love about 2"-3" more inches of lift to really set it off, but I don't think I'll invest the money into a body lift anytime soon.
As others have said, best upgrade for the money. Still need to get an alignment and tires.
Good luck Jon. . . You'll love it when your done.
