The weak spot on my new to me 2008 SLT is the rear bumper which has a few dings from I assume some sloppy trailer hookups. Nothing I couldn't live with but I have a line on a mint condition gray color rear bumper that's advertised as for a 2005 - 2008 dakota. It's for a good price as well. That brings out a few questions that I hope I can get some help with.

Are the 2005-2008 bumpers identical as suggested?

Is mineral gray metallic the only gray that the dakotas came in during these years?

Is this an easy swap with all hardware being swappable (step pad, etc.)

i have no idea i would like to know myself actually.

 

the bumpers are identical for these years as would you mounting brackets be the easiest swap would be to take the brackets of the frame should be two bolts per bracket. if you wanna replace the step pads you'll need to remove the skin from the mounting brackets (which is help on with flush bolts) to get at the clips as for the colours I am not entirely sure my first assumption would be yes
