Default HID wiring ?

I finally broke down and got my HID kit,

One question though, it apears I only plug into one of the stock headlight plugs off the truck, and the other is not used, does this sound right?
or should I be using both the headlight plugs?

Thanks.

Its sounds right. The connector to the original socket should just be to activate relays. Really low current and no need for using both.

Oh, it just might. I'm not the person to ask this. I forgot about that aspect.

Could try hooking it up without mounting anything as a test run. Worst case you get a check engine light just unplug the battery for awhile to reset the computer and contact the kit seller about it.

I have the hi/low beam kit...it hooks up the same way. My blown bulb light comes on only because I have a full led conversion throughout my whole truck for me to get rid of it. I would have to put relays on the turn signals to prevent them from hyper flashing and the light being on. Other than that you should be fine.

I pulled a head light this afternoon, and unpluged it, truck didn't give me any bulb out warnings, so I'm good to go. Now to figure out where to mount every thing and get it all installed.
