please help code 452

Default please help code 452

05 dakota v8 threw a code 452 today, dont know where to start, fuel tank pressure sensor or pressure switch sensor circuit low is what code means, thanks

try reseating your gas cap. You can throw this code if the cap isn't on tightly and you run for a while. If the truck seams to be running OK, reinstall your cap and after 100 miles (or reset the ECU) the light should go out if that is the reason.

Ok lets say I do this and ity doesn't work... where is this sensor located on the top of the tank? I see 3 wires going to the tank

I figure if I take it off and clean it and re-plug it, it may make the light go off...

The Fuel Pressure Regulator is located within fuel pump module. The fuel pressure regulator controls fuel system pressure. The PCM cannot detect a clogged fuel pump inlet filter, clogged in-line fuel filter, or a pinched fuel supply or return line. However, these could result in a rich or lean condition causing the PCM to store an oxygen sensor or fuel system diagnostic trouble code.

Both of these sensors are connected with the Fuel Pump Module. Here is a diagram
