Default Hood & Tailgate Badges

I've been doing some research on other forums and it looks like a lot of people at removing the ram head badges off of their hoods and tailgates. I was just wondering if anyone knows anyone on the forum who is making custom badges that can replace the ram heads that we have. I e-mailed one company that makes them for the chargers but I'm not seeing anything for the dakota. Maybe if we found someone who could make them we could do a group buy or something? These guys have some pretty sweet one's for the challengers. I e-mailed them. http://www.challengercollection.com/..._3d_badges.htm

Personally I removed mine because I like the clean look of not having any badges/emblems, so I dont want to put any back on...thats just me though.

I just want to replace the ram head logo thats in the grill and on the tailgate. Maybe I could take them off and paint them myself. Is there a good paint I could use to paint them?

Prep would be the key to getting the paint to stick to chrome. I'm no paint expert, but sanding, priming, painting and clearcoating are the steps. For something like a badge, would rustoleum work? I'm not sure.

I wish there was a chrome grill (not inserts) for my '10. We can buy headlights with chrome bezels, but I've yet to find a non-OEM frame/insert combo. Chrome rimmed headlights with chrome grille inserts in a silver painted frame would just look like crap. Mini-rant off. Back to the regularly scheduled topic.
