08 lift
hey guys, currently i have an 08 dakota st, i have a 2 inch spacer and 2 inch blocks with a rear add a leaf (add a leaf didn't add lift height in this one but is great for handling the weight of whatever i fit in the small 6 foot bed)
anyways, i'm looking to add some bigger tires, i have 265 75 r 16s (the stock steelies) and i want to get up to 33's
i have the manual, and am contemplating the body lift. anyone have experience with this with the manual?
also, what are you guys running with this set up? i threw 4:10's and a detroit rear in it since it sucked royally going up to the 265 75's, idk how since they really aren't that big, but the 3.7.... i know i know for you guys with the bigger motors, but it is pretty decent for the narrow trails around here... any help appreciated!!! thanks

I dunno for sure but I recall seeing a thread while back saying something bout not being able to body lift a manual maybe someone else can chim in and confirm or deny this im sure with enough mod anything is possible lol
the manual wont work with the three inch body lift, the shifter wont clear the hole in the floor and and the slave cylinder setup wont clear either, but you may be able to do some modifications and get it to work, but as far as i know, nobody has a body lift on a manual yet
it is 4x4. i have no problem if i have to do some trimming for the shifter to clear, i had done that in a buddy's toyota, although that was much older. i was thinking after i do some trimming i'll use a tractor trailer mudflap between the shifter console (where it isn't seen) to keep anything from getting up inside, or as much.
however, i hadn't thought about the clutch... thanks for the input guys, i'll take any ideas you can give me!
