Red face Phewwwwweeeeeeee!!!

This past Saturday I put in a roll in bed liner, Rustoleum Roadwarrior, in my cab. I am quite happy with it. BUUUUUUUT, wow, the smell is much worse than I anticipated. I have kept the windows atleast cracked at all times, but was curious if any of you knew of some good tricks, etc, to help get the smell out faster?

In hopes,
Tim

Open the doors up for one, or Get a huge air freshener/odor eater that are similiar to these

I think Wal-mart has this huge 4-5 inch diameter gel cans that work awesome for odors. They dont mask it either. The gfs car had a nasty rain/water smell to it after we had cleaned and dried the rugs and seat, replaced the cabin air filter and such. We grab one of these odor eaters, as I explained and the smell has been gone since, and thats been like 6+ monthes.

Default Thank you

I don't think I realized those things absorbed smell, just thought they masked it. I will have to try it. I do open the doors every morning, I just keep them cracked at night.

I tried to post some pics, but I can't get them to fit the size requirements. I'm not extremely electronic file managment handy. Any help?
Thanks,
Tim

www.photobucket.com... works best. I am guessing you took out the rug? Wyatt did this a while back and it turned out pretty cool!

I remember doing herculiner in the bed of my old truck. On hot summer days for the first summer it was rolled in, it smelled. The smell was not as noticable after about a week, but you could always get a wiff if you went up by the bed. I sure would never want it on the inside of my cab.
