my buddy has a dakota with the 4.7 and the engine is making a noise, he says it only does it till it warms up 5 mins or so and stops.. he took it to dodge and other macanics and found nothing they told him to drive it till it gets worse , it isnt clatter or anything like valves.. was wondering if it sounds filmiluar too anyone else that could help , i have a 5.9 so i dunno anything about the 4.7.

 

The 4.7L is notorious for exhaust leakage through the stock manifold gaskets until they warm up.
